Airport Supervisor (Ho Chi Minh City)

South East Asia International Film Festival (SEAIFF) is currently hiring for an Airport Supervisor in Ho Chi Minh City

Reporting to the Manager, the Airport Supervisor position will oversee guest arrivals and departures at Tan Son Nhat Airport, ensuring that passengers connect with their designated ground transportation.

Responsibilities
Ensure that all guests designated for pick up are greeted by a volunteer, escorted to their arranged ground transportation and sent to their designated accommodation.
Maintain professional and amicable relations with guests and external partners/contacts.
Maintain confidentiality in all matters relating to guest information ensuring that all information is handled in an ethical and confidential manner.
Ensure professional interactions with all Talent & Festival guests, including celebrities.
Dispatch Guest Drivers and hired limo/taxis from the airport.
Liaise with Ground Transportation Manager, volunteers and Guest Drivers on shift to report delays, errors and problems as soon as they arise.
Supervise the Volunteer Captains and all volunteers working at the Airport ensuring that they follow the correct procedures and behave appropriately with the guests.
Participate in Volunteer Department offered training “Working with Volunteers” Workshop.
Create an inclusive work environment that ensures that volunteers feel welcome and that they are part of the SEAIFF team.
Provide feedback to volunteers on their performance and report any issues to the Ground Transportation Manager and Volunteer department.
Maintain float for reimbursing volunteer expenses.

Minimum Requirements
Experience in a high-level customer service role, with a focus in hospitality and/or travel and tourism is an asset.
Experience in managing volunteers is an asset.
Previous film festival or event management experience considered an asset.
Strong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate (oral and written) in a professional manner, and client service oriented.
Ability to function as an effective team member, demonstrate initiative in a fast-paced, high volume environment, adapt to changing client needs, and manage competing priorities.
Mature personal judgment, exhibiting a high level of professionalism and diplomacy, and ability to handle confidential information.
Able to handle emergencies, difficult situations and people with confidence and grace.
Willing to adjust work schedule as required to meet established deadlines including evenings and weekends.
Ability to lift 50 lbs.
Fluency in foreign language(s) considered an asset.
Reliable transportation to get to and from the airport each day.
Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
